At the hour the sun
Slides behind the hills
And the night like a panther
Crouches ready to spring
And no light beckons
At the end of the long corridor
At a time that I had found
That I had lost the art
Of leaping and falling back
Into the realm of dreams
With a child like facility
At a time I had chosen silence
Feigned blindness
And pleaded ignorance
You walked in
Like a blaze of light
Streaking through the darkness
Melting away the night
Bring a bit of heaven down to earth!

MADE TO PERFECTION
I have found a knight
Made to perfection
And in the warmth of his friendship
I have been wrapped in affection
I have found someone to sigh with
Someone to cry with
Someone to talk with
Someone to walk with
And with that the joy of giving
In loving, in laughing, in living
I have found such peace and beauty in him
I am truly beguiled by his charms
Just thinking of him reminds me
Somewhere on the face of this earth
Another miracle is happening
And that all dreams and expectations
Can turn to reality!
